Your Body - Your Choice

At Natural Bodies, we practice a Holistic Health philosophy. We believe that health is much more than the absence of illness. Health is a way of living. Our everyday choices determine our level of health and wellness. It is not enough to prevent disease; we want to be healthy!


Holistic Nutrition – Our bodies constantly renew themselves. The older cells that compose our bodies are continually replaced by newer cells. New cells are built from the raw materials supplied through the food we eat and the water we drink. If the food and water we consume are highly processed and filled with toxins, then these "new cells" will be impaired and unable to keep us healthy. We must nourish our bodies with clean natural foods. Let's explore nutritious, delicious, and economical ways to eat healthily.


Healthy Eating Plans - Many types of healthy eating plans (diets) exist. Determining which is best for you can be difficult. There are four primary reasons that anyone changes their eating habits: to improve their overall health, to lose weight, to avoid foods that cause allergies, and to help fight chronic disease. Let us help you find the right eating plan for your specific health goals.


Fasting - Eating nutritious food and drinking clean water is the foundation of a healthy body. Yet there are significant health benefits to abstaining from food for short periods. Let us determine if fasting could help you reach your health goals.

  • Intermittent Fasting is when you abstain from eating for an extended period each day (usually lasting 12 or 18 hours). This Fasting provides your body with a respite from constantly digesting food. Research suggests it requires 5 to 10% of our daily energy to digest and absorb food. When we fast, the energy spent on digesting food is reallocated to much-needed cellular repair and reproduction.
  • One Meal A Day (OMAD) is a time-restriction diet. On the OMAD diet, you eat only one meal per day. You may eat whatever and as much as you wish. Yet it is recommended that you eat a well-balanced diet that provides your body with nutrition. Like intermittent Fasting, OMAD allows your body to focus more energy on healing.
  • Multiple Day Fasting is an excellent way to restructure your eating habits, promote mental clarity, improve immune function, encourage muscle growth and repair, detox, lose weight, and stabilize blood sugar. This type of Fasting requires supervision.


Nutrition by Life Stage - Our bodies require different types and amounts of food at different ages. A child's nutritional needs are vastly different from the dietary needs of an elder. Let us help you design an eating plan that fits your dietary needs.


Movement – We do not need to exercise like Olympic athletes to maintain a healthy body. Just a few minutes of aerobic activity, stretching, or walking will help us maintain agility and flexibility. The more we move, the better our body and brain function. Regardless of age, size, or abilities, healthy movements will increase our agility and help us feel capable and confident. Let us help you build a daily exercise routine to enhance your physical and emotional wellbeing.
